Το πάγωμα του ELA ήταν μια κίνηση με δική της δυναμική που κυριολεκτικά απασφάλισε μια ατομική βόμβα ενώ είναι άγνωστο αν η κίνηση αυτή μπορεί να πραγματικά να αντιστραφεί.
Χτες παρά το αποτέλεσμα του δημοψηφίσματος στην Ελλάδα και παρά τις αναμενόμενες πολιτικές διαδικασίες διαπραγματεύσεων ο κεντρικός τραπεζίτης του Ευρώ ΜΑΡΙΟ ΝΤΡΑΓΚΙ έκανε άλλο ένα βήμα προς την καταστροφή του κοινού νομίσματος. 

Ανακοίνωσε αλλαγή , δηλαδή αύξηση, του haircut των εγγυήσεων του ELA. 

Άρα πρακτικά μηδενίζει τα όποια ελάχιστα αποθέματα του ELA για την Ελλάδα.

          

Σαφέστατα πολιτική κίνηση άσκησης περαιτέρω πίεσης προς την Ελλάδα και σίγουρα άλλο ένα βήμα προς ένα τραπεζικό ολοκαύτωμα.
Ο κύριος αυτός σίγουρα δεν είναι πολιτικός, και ακόμα πιο σίγουρα δεν είναι κεντρικός τραπεζίτης. Οι κινήσεις του μόνο τέτοιες δεν είναι. Σε ποια κέντρα υπακούει και τι πλάνα έχει στην πραγματικότητα μάλλον θα πρέπει να ανησυχούν τους πάντες στην Ευρώπη και σίγουρα την κυρία Μέρκελ.

Οι κινήσεις του όχι μόνο δεν βοηθούν την εύρεση λύσης, πολιτικής συμφωνίας και συμβιβασμού, μόνο πολιτικά ουδέτερες δεν είναι, αλλά μάλλον ακολουθούν ένα σχέδιο βίαιης εξώθησης της Ελλάδας εκτός ευρωζώνης δια της καταστροφής του Ελληνικού τραπεζικού συστήματος.

Και επειδή προφανώς ο άνθρωπος αυτός υπακούει σε εντολές κάποιων δεν ξέρω πόσο αισιόδοξος μπορεί να είναι κανείς για εξεύρεση λύσης, συμφωνίας κλπ.

Earlier today we reported that as Bloomberg correctly leaked, the ECB would keep its ELA frozen for Greek banks at its ?89 billion ceiling level last increased two weeks ago. However we did not know what the ECB would do with Greek ELA haircuts, assuming that the ECB would not dare risk contagion and the collapse of the Greek banking system by triggering a waterfall solvency rush in Greek banks if and when it boosts ELA haircuts. Turns out we were wrong, and as the ECB just announced "the Governing Council decided today to adjust the haircuts on collateral accepted by the Bank of Greece for ELA."

• Emergency liquidity assistance maintained at 26 June 2015 level
• Haircuts on collateral for ELA adjusted

The Governing Council of the European Central Bank decided today to maintain the provision of emergency liquidity assistance (ELA) to Greek banks at the level decided on 26 June 2015 after discussing a proposal from the Bank of Greece.

ELA can only be provided against sufficient collateral.

The financial situation of the Hellenic Republic has an impact on Greek banks since the collateral they use in ELA relies to a significant extent on government-linked assets.

In this context, the Governing Council decided today to adjust the haircuts on collateral accepted by the Bank of Greece for ELA.

The Governing Council is closely monitoring the situation in financial markets and the potential implications for the monetary policy stance and for the balance of risks to price stability in the euro area. The Governing Council is determined to use all the instruments available within its mandate.

In what can only be described as a shocking testimony, Greece’s former representative to the IMF, Panagiotis Roumeliotis, in front of the special parliamentary committee on the Greek debt, said that several Greek journalists were “trained” in Washington D.C. in order to support the positions of the IMF and the European Commission in Greek media.

Roumeliotis testified that…

“The IMF trained” greek journalists so that “Greek journalists can promote the positions of the IMF and the European Commission in Greek media.”

According to Roumeliotis, the seminars and training classes took place in Washington D.C., as well as various sessions taking place in Greece.

Roumeliotis refused to disclose the names of the journalists involved, in what can only be described as overt and excessive western propaganda, bordering on illegal actions undertaken by the IMF and European Commission given the state of Greece’s debt burden.

Parliament President and head of the committee, Zoe Konstantopoulou, noted that the committee investigating Greece’s debt would seek to discover the names of the journalists that took part in Washington’s training sessions.

Roumeliotis noted that when he was in Washington D.C. he accidentally met with Greek journalists who told him that they were invited to attend seminars on the function of the IMF.He said that the committee can ask the organization’s Director of Communications Department, Gerry Rice, for a list of journalists’ names who attended such seminars in D.C.

Konstantopoulou adopted the proposal and appointed a committee member to draft a formal request to the IMF…
